Rich Treats: Stories Of Food From Eastern Montana, May 30, Sidney
Join food historian Dr. Mary Murphy from Montana State University and Molly Kruckenberg from the Montana Historical Society in a discussion on the food history of eastern Montana on Thursday, May 30 at 6 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center, 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney. Presenters will discuss the role of food as a touchstone during times of upheaval and the role of food in bringing people together. They will also compare Montana’s food history generally to the trends and traditions of food in eastern Montana. The program is FREE to the public! Each camp runs from Monday-Thursday, where kids will learn creative techniques and processes, create variety of art projects, play outside as appropriate, enjoy daily snacks, and have fun!

Ages 2-6 – July 8-11, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. *must be accompanied by adult/guardian

The Perfect Pair: Beer + Cheese w/ Meadowlark Brewing

On Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center, 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney. Travis Peterson and Tim Schnars of Meadowlark Brewing discuss the art and science of pairing beer and cheese. Find out how to pick the perfect cheese for your favorite beer, learn how to put together a tasting plan, and enjoy a variety of local brews and artisan cheeses, like Ole Gus + Gruyere and Harvester + Muenster!
