Sons of Serndip is a special quartet of four friends, graduates of Boston University, that came together in 2014 when they organized and performed on America’s Got Talent, taking 4th place. They will be performing at the Watford City High School Auditorium on May 14 at 7 p.m. as the final concert of the 2018-2019 Watford City Area Concert Series.
Sons of Serendip features a tenor, harp, cello and keyboard. Their concert program focuses on fairly contemporary music, some with a fresh twist, and some familiar pop tunes from Motown. All will feature Micha Christian’s beautiful tenor voice and the wonderful playing of keyboardist Cordaro Rodriguez, cellist Kendall Ramseur (also the backup singer) and harpist Mason Morton.
The name Sons of Serendip, comes from the notion that “serendipity brought us together.” Each member has an inspiring story and together the group strives to embody the adjectives Classy, Genuine, Spiritual, Sensitive and Timeless.
Members of the group have hopes that their singing will inspire others to follow their dreams, to pursue their love for music, to spread love and build a better world, and create an experience one will never forget!
This concert is open to all 2018-2019 Watford City Area Concert series members, as well as reciprocity community memberships.
