Gary Schoepp and Eagle Country Ford recently donated a used Dodge Caravan to Richland Opportunities in Sidney to provide easier transportation for residents. The van is being used for shopping trips, outings and transportation between work and home, primarily by residents of the New Place.
Executive director Dan Peters expressed gratitude from everyone at ROI for the generous gift. ”It’s people like Gary Schoepp and companies like Eagle Country Ford that help ROI better serve the people we work with, by their donations and gifts,” he said.
Schoepp said he was happy to be able to donate a vehicle that would fit the needs of ROI and its residents. “ROI provides lots of opportunities for their clients and lots of services to the community,” he said. “It’s an all-around good program to have here. They provide an economic opportunity for their clients and do great work for us with their recycling program and other activities. We’ve been involved with ROI in many ways throughout the years. They had a need and we helped them out.”
