McKenzie County 4-Hers Participate in Southwest 4-H Archery Match

Fourteen McKenzie County 4-Hers participated in the Southwest 4-H Archery Match held on January 12 at the Nishu Bowmen Archery Complex in Bismarck.

Receiving third place honors in the Junior Division of the Freestyle Bow Category was Jake Ceynar, son of Dustin and Sara Ceynar of Arnegard.

Other top placings were:

Sixth place in Junior Bare Bow—Ryan Pingel, son of Brent and Sandra Pingel of Watford City

Seventh place in Senior Bare Bow—Hosanna Patten, daughter of Tony and Jane Patten of Watford City

Ninth place in Beginner Freestyle—Luke Pederson, son of Kent and Anita Pederson of Arnegard

Also participating in this match were: Emma and Thaydan Arnold, children of Thad and Lowana Arnold of Watford City; Nicholas Sanford, son of Brent and Sandra Sanford of Watford City; Luke Smith, son of Randi and Leland Smith of Arnegard; Hunter Cowan, son of Sabrina and Ken Cowan of Watford City; Jeremiah and Ezra Patten, sons of Tony and Jane Patten of Watford City; Dylon Cargo, son of Laci and Seth Cargo of Arnegard; Clay Ceynar, son of Dustin and Sara Ceynar of Arnegard; and Colton Crist, son of Chad and Corinna Crist of Grassy Butte.

Coaches for the team are Brent Schwan of Watford City; Thad Arnold and Dustin Ceynar.
