SHS Speech, Drama & Debate Team travelled to Billings to compete in the Eastern Montana Kickoff hosted by Billings Skyview and Shepherd. There were 35 schools representing AA, A, B & C and around 420 competitors. In the end, The Drama Team placed 2nd with Sophomores Shoua Vang and Daniel Schneider placing 1st in Classic Theatre. Noah Kyhl and Isaac Quiroz finishes 5th also in Classic. Seniors Tyler Berka and Josh Delaney placed 5th in Humorous Duo. The Debate Team had tough competition, Lorraine Coronato placed 7th in Lincoln Douglas. Speech Team Christine Turek placed 2nd in Memorized Public Address. The team travels to Custer County next week.
