Sidney, MT—The Foundation for Community Care will hold its 25th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Sidney Country Club. This tournament has raised more than $425,000 to benefit local healthcare over its long history. Players are encouraged to come out and enjoy a day of golfing while supporting quality healthcare in their community.
Events like the golf tournament help grow the Foundation’s Endowment Fund, which ensures stability for future healthcare needs. Annually, 5 percent of our Endowment Fund is awarded in community grants. In 2018, almost $290,000 was granted back into the community to fund medical needs.
This tournament is one of the last of the summer and is filled with fun right from the start. Upon checking in, golfers have the opportunity to choose a gift from the pop-up pro shop as a thank you for their support of local healthcare. Once on the course, the participants have a chance to win team awards, a $10,000 Hole-In-One Prize sponsored by CM Built Doors, a 2018 Chevy Silverado sponsored by Gem City, and special hole prizes. Two of the most popular events of the day are the mini golf style challenge where players team up to win cash prizes, as well the Ball Cannon, an air powered launcher designed to increase distance while still maintaining accuracy. Golfers will also enjoy breakfast, lunch in the club house, a cocktail hour following play, as well as 25 year anniversary gifts for EVERY participant.
Each year golfers from around the state come to Sidney to enjoy the 18-hole scramble. Participants’ skills range from first time to experienced golfers. You may choose your own 6 person team, or sign up individually and be placed on a team. We encourage you to register for the tournament by Wednesday, August 22nd, and, remember spots fill quickly!
