An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of PETER AND WENDY on Monday, June 18 at 11:30 am at the Watford City Intermediate School Media Center in Watford City. There are roles for those students 1st grade through 8th grade. Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the show. Those wishing to audition must arrive at 11:30 am rehearsal time and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition at 2 pm
No advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts! Students should just be ready to come and have a good time! Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week, starting after Monday’s auditions and continuing Tuesday, June 19th through Friday, June 22nd at 11:30 am each day in the Watford City Intermediate School Media Center.
Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role and be available for all scheduled performances. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full 4 hours and 15 minutes will be asked to bring a sack lunch, dinner or snack to be eaten during the 15-minute break between sessions.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT), the nation’s largest touring children’s theatre, has been touring extensively for more than 40 years now from Montana to Japan, and will visit nearly 1,200 communities this year with up to 44 teams of Tour Actor/Directors.
