This beautiful life started out being born to Gerald (Jim) and Wanda (Miller) Frank in Sidney, MT, where Sherri lived her entire life. Her siblings, Debbie, David and Donny Frank, all helped in forming very memorable and funny stories throughout their childhood.
Sherri was working at the Centre Theater when she met her loving husband, Rick. They were soon blessed with two wonderful children, Shannon (Vine Grove, Ky) and Cody (Rosedale, Ind.). She and Rick raised their children in Sidney, and their children both served in the U.S. Army. Sherri was proud of them and was always there to support her children in their decision to serve their country. She traveled to visit them in foreign places and throughout the country; she sent them more care packages than they could count!
Sherri loved doing construction work; especially with her friend Gerald Ackerman. Her favorite memories were four wheeling in the mountains, fishing, finding treasures along the Yellowstone River bank, taking care of her beloved animals and traveling to foreign countries with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her closest friends, Jamie Frank, Maryann Morgenstern, and Melissa Buckley.
Lending a helping hand to those in need always warmed Sherri’s heart. She touched many lives wherever she went with her humble soul and caring heart. In her life’s journey she made many life-long friends. Those she considered extended family were Stevensons, Paladichuks, Berndts, Ackermans, Bells and Baischs.
After battling cancer this past year, Sherri passed peacefully in Louisville, Ky., on January 24, 2018. Family and friends are invited to share a meal and any stories they have about Sherri at her celebration of life on Saturday, March 10, at 1 p.m. at the Elks in Sidney.
