Construction on ND Hwy 1804 east of Williston will be winding down during the winter months. During the project, crews have been working to widen the roadway and add turn lanes and shoulders. Motorists will encounter shifts from the east bound lanes to the west bound lanes through various locations and this traffic pattern will continue throughout the winter months.
Construction will continue through the week of Thanksgiving and then will be suspended until next spring, but motorists should be aware of the following:
· Speeds will continue to be reduced to 45 mph throughout the winter months
· There will be isolated areas of gravel shoulder present on the roadway until the project is completed
· There is a 12 ft. width restriction in place
