The SHS Speech, Drama & Debate team travelled to Miles City to compete against 22 schools. The Speech/Debate Team placed 3rd overall. Senior Public Forum Debaters Naomi Mata and Lauryn Barnhart placed 2nd. The rest of the Speech team results were : Original Oratory Luke Turek placed 4th, Memorized Public Address Christine Turek placed 3rd, Extemp Shanyn Reidle placed 3rd. The Drama Team also placed 3rd overall. In Dramatic Solo Atlas Hill placed 4th. Fighting their way through 24 teams of Humorous Duos Tyler Berka & Josh Delaney placed 5th, Classic Theatre freshman team Daniel Schnieder and Shoua Vang placed 5th. Not too shabby since it was the first meet of the year for several of these competitors. The team will travel to Hardin next weekend.
