Charlene Helland, 86 Fairview, MT

Charlene Helland, 86, of Fairview, MT died on Tuesday, September 19 at Sidney Health Center. At Charlene's request no services are planned and cremation has taken place. Charlene was born in 1931 in Miles City, Montana. Her childhood was filled with family, love and laughter. Charlene later met her soul-mate, and husband of 67 years, Harold Helland. They enjoyed many adventures in their youth and had two great kids, Clay and Susan.

In 1961 Charlene and family moved to Fairview, Montana where she and Harold made their home and raised their children. In May 1972 Charlene and Harold built and opened The Powder Keg pizza house in Fairview. She worked side-by-side with Harold to build a thriving business, still in existence, that she was very proud of. In her retirement, Charlene and Harold would go camping & fishing and spent time with her family far and near.

Charlene was loved and adored by Harold, Clay and Susan up to the very second of her passing on September 19. There is so much more to the story of Charlene's life that will be retold and treasured by her family.
