The sixth Annual $5,100 added Mid-Rivers Communications Bakken Barrel Daze was a great success with intermittent weather. Over $17,000 was paid out over Father's Day weekend at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Sidney, MT. Fantastic ground made for a fast standard pattern, which was WPRA, NWBRA, UBRC, BBR, and OBRA approved. The big weekend winner was Sidney's own, Victoria Netzer for $2971 aboard 4 great horses. Streaka Ta Fame had a 17.256 for the fastest time of the weekend, winning the Sat Open 5D, WPRA and futurity. Bailee Murnion won the Sun Open 5D and Netzer Law Office WPRA Sidepot on Some Corona with a 17.533. Kylee Sept won the Sat Youth race and Hadli Anderson won the Sun Youth. Classic Equine sponsored a Zone Pad and great prizes for the top 4 in the average in each D. Bailee Murnion 1D, Charell Schillo 2D, Carol Bruer 3D, Brenda Fisketjon 4D, and Taylor Fink 5D.
