Williston Builders Association names New Executive Officer

The Williston Area Builders Association is pleased to announce the hiring of their new Executive Officer, Mariah Bates.

Mariah grew up in coastal New Hampshire until she graduated high school and left for college. She then attended college at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado where she received her Bachelors of Business Degree with a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Mariah moved to Williston, North Dakota with her husband Pace in February of this year.

Growing up in the construction industry around her father and uncles who owned and operated their own businesses as builders, developers, general contractors, roofers, and more, she was exposed to the lifestyle, needs and culture of the building industry.

With her experience in business, marketing, and outreach, combined with her entrepreneurial spirit, Mariah is determined and ambitious about WABA and all that she can do to grow it. Her willingness to reach out, meet new people, build new relationships and network herself will be an essential asset to the growth of this association.

We would like to welcome her to the team and encourage you all to meet her. With her help we hope to grow the association, bring its members closer together and expand our reach within our area of Burke, Divide, Mountrail, McKenzie and Williams County.

“Mariah has jumped into the role with ease, I see the Williston Builders membership growing, with her marketing and entrepreneurship degree she will help us create more value especially in the slowdown when it is needed. She is already taking on our largest event, the Home Show, and is also helping us start a new chapter in Watford City. Keep your eyes on the Williston Builders.
