The SHS Speech & Drama team competed against 15 schools this past Friday, and came out on top! The Speech team brought home the 1st place trophy for Class A Sweeps. With the talented seniors Kasey Gorder taking 1st place in Impromptu and Zach Sommerfeld grabbing the 1st place in Extemp, the team was unstoppable. The Drama Team also brought home the 1st place trophy for Class A Sweeps. Dramatic Solo: Kyle Topp 1st, Laura Elmore 2nd, Jaz Hodge 3rd. Classic Duo: Peachlyn Simons & Atlas Hill 3rd, Christin Turek & Shea Roberts 5th Dramatic Duo: Josh Delaney & Hollye Blekestad 7th. The team travels to Hardin next weekend.
