Stop by the 53rd Annual Threshing Bee Sept. 24th & 25th, in Culbertson

The 53rd annual Threshing Bee is happening in Culbertson, MT this weekend, Sept. 24th and 25th. Bundle threshing, lumber sawing, small engine display, a shingle mill, a lumber planer, and antique tractors are some of the historical machinery that will be on site. The Northeast Montana Threshers and Antique Association was founded in 1963 to preserve and demonstrate past generations’ farm machinery.

Get a jump on the day by filling up at the Old-Time Threshermen’s Breakfast at 7:30am both Saturday and Sunday. The Threshing Bee starts at 9:00 Saturday, the parade begins at 3:00pm, and at 5:00pm grills are getting fired up for a free BBQ.

On Sunday, church service begins at 9:00am and the parade will start at 2:00pm. Food and refreshments will be onsite each day and there will be barrel train rides for the kids, vendors, a slow race, tractor pull, car show, and straw scramble throughout the weekend. RV spaces are also available.

Gas and fuel for the event is being donated by Cenex, and the festivities are going to be held at 1st St North and 3rd Ave East in Culbertson, MT. For more information, call 406-787-5265.
