Erin Biebl Fink, DDS, started at Fink Dental Center on Aug. 6th, after moving back to Sidney with her husband and son. Fink, who graduated from Sidney High School in 2002, went on to receive her degree from the University of Minnesota. She was commissioned by the Air Force and spent a year at Travis Air Force Base in California, completing her advanced residency. She and her husband Cole Fink, then spent the next four years in Germany at Spangdahlem Air Force Base where she provided dental services to active duty airmen and their families. As the end of her active duty approached, the Finks decided to return to their hometown where Cole Fink's uncle, Dr. Richard Fink, DMD has a family dentistry practice.
"We loved Germany, but we were starting a family and that changed our outlook on life and our priorities. Richard had been looking for someone to join his practice, so the timing was perfect," she commented.
The couple moved back to Sidney at the end of July with their six month old son, Dean; Erin Fink's intentions were to wait until September to start working, however, Fink Dental Center was booked out quite a ways, and so she decided to start early to help meet patients' needs.
Fink Dental Center offers services including exams, fillings, same-day crowns, extractions, tooth whitening, and they have an orthodontist available on Fridays. One new service offered at the practice is conscious sedation, which helps those that are anxious about dental work to have a positive and comfortable experience.
"I love patient care and healthcare. I enjoy serving people and dentistry is very rewarding. I'm very excited to join the practice; I've always envisioned serving families and working at a family practice," she concluded.
Fink Dental Center is located at 122 2nd St. SE in Sidney and their hours are currently Monday – Thursday from 8:00am -5:00pm. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, call 406-433-4422.
