The Montana Agricultural Political Action Committee (MAPA PAC) has announced its endorsement of Joel Krautter in the Montana House District 35 race, covering Richland County. The Montana Agricultural PAC includes the Montana Stockgrowers Association as a member.
In announcing the endorsement, Joe Goggins, the MAPA PAC Chairman wrote that the MAPA PAC was established to support candidates who have shown a commitment to work with Montana’s ranching sector and who, “best represent the agriculture industry, producers and rural community values across the state and nation.”
Krautter has made strengthening Montana’s agriculture industry a priority of his campaign and has highlighted his commitment to being a good listener to the concerns of local farmers and ranchers on numerous occasions throughout his campaign.
During the Candidate Forum that was held at Girard Hall on May 19, Krautter stated that he would be a legislator that farmers and ranchers could count on to have their back on any kind of agricultural issue.
The endorsement is the second endorsement Krautter has received from an agriculture focused political action committee. In late March, Krautter also received the endorsement of the Montana Farm Bureau Political Action Committee.
Election Day in the contested Republican primary is June 7. You can learn more about Joel Krautter and his campaign by visiting http://www.joelforrichlandco.com.
