Sidney businesses will be receiving fundraising letters from the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce this week. The 26th annual Sunrise Festival of the Arts, held at centrally located Veteran’s Memorial Park, is being expanded into a three-day event with Montana Shakespeare in the Park performing on Thursday, July 7th, the Billings Symphony and Orchestra performing on Friday, July 8th, and park vendors and entertainment on Saturday, July 9th.
Entertainment events generate business in Sidney, and this is an opportunity to draw people from other communities. To help ensure that this exciting event is a success, the Chamber is asking for assistance from local businesses and interested residents to help cover the cost of bringing the Billings Symphony and Orchestra to town.
Donation levels are listed as following:
Festival Fanatic, a donation of $1800.00 or more: The business/individual’s name and logo will be associated with all ads and printed marketing, they will have a full page ad in the program, they will receive 4 Sunrise Festival of the Arts buttons, will receive announcer recognition, and will have a company banner in the park (sponsor must provide banner).
Festival Enthusiast, a donation of $1000.00: The business/individual’s name and logo will be associated with all ads and printed marketing, they will receive a half-page ad in the program, they will receive announcer recognition, and they will get 2 Sunrise Festival of the Arts buttons.
Festival Patron, a donation of $500.00: The business/individual’s name will be associated with all ads and printed marketing, they will receive a quarter page ad in the program, and 2 Sunrise Festival of the Arts buttons.
Festival Admirer, a donation of $250.00: The business/individual’s name will be associated with all marketing materials and they will receive a business card ad in the program.
Festival Friend, any donation less than $250. All donations will be listed in the event program as well as on the event’s website.
Donations can be mailed to the Sidney Area Chamber at 909 S Central Ave, Sidney, MT 59270, or made online at http://www.sidneymt.com (click on the Sunrise Festival link). Donations can also be made via pledge by calling 406-433-1916. All donations should be made by June 10th to be used towards this year’s festival; donations made after that will be used towards next year’s event. This isn’t just an opportunity for those who received a fundraising letter, anyone can donate to this great cause! Let’s help ensure this year’s highly anticipated event is a success and the beginning of a new tradition in Sidney.
