The Grand Opening of the Sunset Village was held on Thursday, April 21st, providing much needed affordable housing for area residents. The Sunset Village is a ten year project which replaced the former Sunset apartments, built in the 1950s.Building of the 36 units began in the spring of 2015, which includes eight more apartments than there were previously. There are also more one bedroom, four bedroom, and handicapped accessible units.The Sunset Village apartments will be move-in ready in May and applications are available at the Richland County Housing Authority, located at 1032 6th SW in Sidney; for more information, call 406-433-1978.
