Ashley Karst, 8th grader from East Fairview School and Sumaiyah Alyadumi, 7th grader from Watford City Middle School both placed in the top 25 at the ND State Spelling Bee. The top 25 compete in the oral spell down rounds. Sumaiyah competed thru the 2nd round of orals and Ashley competed thru the 6th round.
