The committee is excited to host Sidney’s first Bowl for a Cure Fundraising Event. OK Lanes has partnered with the Richland County Relay Event Leadership Team to bring this family fun event to the community, and help fund the cure! The fundraiser will be Feb. 28, 2016, at OK Lanes Bowling Center from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.
“We are excited to get involved with such a great program and help out the community while we are at it, “Tom Ortloff ,owner of OK Lanes, said of the event.
Bring the family, and bowl the day away! The festivities will begin at 11 a.m., and continue till 6 p.m. $5 a game, including shoes and all proceeds will go towards Richland County Relay for Life. In addition to the menu that the Lanes offer daily and the bar, there will also be pop, pizza, and baked goods available for free will donation. Terry Adolph, of Savage, has donated a Track M16 bowling ball to be raffled off at the event, to greater fund our mission. Raffle tickets will be available before, and the day of the fundraiser.
Arien Waller, Event Chair said, “It is very important to our Relay committee that there are functions that the whole family can attend. There aren’t a lot of events going on in the area that are family friendly, so we are so excited and grateful that this event is possible.”
