Active Parenting of Teens: Families in Action was designed to reach a cross-section of families in a range of family structures. It is appropriate for families with significant teen problems such as drug use and those with everyday challenges such as disrespectful behavior.
Parents and preteens/teens are encouraged to attend the course together. Trained facilitators will lead a parent group and a preteen/teen group meeting separately. If it is not possible for preteens/teens to attend classes as a family, parents may attend without their children or preteens/teens may attend without their parents.
This course is free of charge and both parents and preteens/teens will receive a workbook.
