The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Bureau of Reclamation will hold a public meeting on Thur., Jan. 21, 2016 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Dawson County High School Auditorium, 900 N. Merrill Ave., Glendive, MT. to gather input on the development of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Intake Diversion Dam fish passage project.
The meeting, which will be an open house format with no formal presentation, will provide the public with information about possible options to improve fish passage at the Intake Diversion Dam and identify impacts to the environment. Staff from the Corps and Reclamation will be available to discuss options being considered for further analysis. The public is encouraged to provide comments on the scope of the issues and alternatives to be considered in the EIS. Comments must be postmarked or received by Feb. 17, 2016.
