As the Sidney Elks Lodge furthers its mission of Charity…Elks Care, Elks Share…is its mission.
Sidney Elks Lodge 1782 has donated over $35,000 this year benefiting the Sidney Boys and Girls Club, the local Cancer Coalition, the Veterans, Boy Scouts, Little League, Drug Awareness, the Sidney K-9 program, the LVA, the Food Bank, a number of scholarships, Camp Make-A-Dream, the Sidney Health Center Color Run, and the Neil Hermanson Memorial Scholarship.
One of the major fundraisers for these charitable donations was held early in February. The 2015 Bootleggers Ball raised $15,000 largely due to our table sponsors: Hurley Enterprises, Chaz N Line, Sidney Liquors, LoenBro, Joslin Trucking and J & T Welding, Prairie Electric, KC Sand, Nagle Ranch, Reneau Welding and Modern Machine. We would like to thank these generous sponsors.
Looking ahead to 2016, we would like to build on last year’s charitable giving. We are asking for your help. Instead of the guessing who needs charitable donations from the 2016 Bootleggers Ball, we are asking Richland County Non-Profit Organizations for letters of need (no more than one page) to be submitted to Sidney Elks Lodge Bootleggers Ball Committee 123 2nd St. Sidney, MT on or before November 30th, 2015. Please include the following: Name of Organization, Contact person with phone number, Goals and Objectives of the Organization, a brief description of and budget for the project, how much money is needed for the success of this project and state if other funds will be used. For more information contact Jodie Leland 406-480-1999.
