Across The West: New Work By The Blue Buffalo Artists

The MonDak Heritage Center welcomes the Blue Buffalo Artists, a group made up of artists who love the West, with a special opening reception on Sat., Nov. 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The West lives on in the hearts and minds of the Blue Buffalo Artists, continually inspiring their artwork. Although they are individuals using a wide variety of media and portraying various genres, they have a strong bond in common with their love of the West, in all of its glory, romanticism and realities. The artwork on display includes sculptures, paintings and drawings, with portraits, landscapes and animals portrayed.

The core group of Blue Buffalo Artists was formed in 2008 in Cody, Wyoming as a way for like-minded artists to network and exhibit their work. The group has grown to include artists from several western states, and they show their work across the region as well as at their annual signature show at the historic Irma Hotel, which was built by Buffalo Bill Cody in 1902 and named for his daughter Irma.

Local artist Trish Stevenson facilitates the exhibitions that Blue Buffalo takes part in, and she, along with several other artists, will be joining the MonDak Heritage Center, 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney MT on Nov.21 for the opening of “Across the West”, new work by the Blue Buffalo Artists from 6 – 8 p.m. Please plan to attend and view this wonderful art and visit with Trish and the other artists. The show is currently on display and runs through December 31, 2015. Visit the Artists website at http://www.bluebuffaloartists.com for a preview.
