Flag Ceremony Opens Richland County Fair

Montana sees a large proportion of its sons and daughters sign up for tours of duty with various branches of the military. These men and women unselfishly protect our way of life and ensure that citizens continue to enjoy the many freedoms this country offers. To honor and salute those in past and present service to our country, the Richland County Fair will hold a military flag raising ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 1 p.m. at the Oval to kick off fair festivities. The Fair Board has also designated Thursday, Aug. 6, as Military Appreciation Day at the fair.

During the Rodeo on Thursday, Aug. 6. Military Appreciation Night will recognize and pay tribute to area servicemen and women.
