Paul Williams, RN Departs RMC

Paul Williams, a registered nurse, has left the Roosevelt Medical Center Clinic and moved to the San Francisco Bay area of California, where he accepted a nursing position with Tri-City Health Center.

Williams joined RMC in 2011 in an effort to learn more about working in the clinic environment and to positively impact the community. In California he will be working as a care coordinator in a specialty clinic focusing on disease prevention.

"It was a bittersweet decision to leave. I am going to greatly miss the friendliness of the community and the sense of family I have experienced at RMC," he said.

The new job is offering him career advancement that will bring him closer to his goal of working in public health and disease prevention. Williams also said he has been wanting to return to the Bay Area for some time. The move will bring him to a central location for visiting his family, most of whom reside in Orange County and the Sacramento area.
