Thank you to all of the area company employers and their employees, government agency employees, service organizations, 4-H clubs, running groups, school children, farmers, ranchers and numerous individuals who have taken time out of their busy lives to support the recent effort to clean up Richland County. Each bag of trash removed from the road ditches, fence lines, paths and streets of our county shows how much pride we take in keeping our corner of Montana beautiful. It is so much easier to enjoy the beauty of all that Spring has to offer when you don’t have to look past the trash to see it. Your contribution of time and effort to this project is appreciated by many. As Dr. Seuss says” Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
On behalf of the Natural Resource Steering committee “Thank you for caring about our community”.
There are still areas that can be cleaned, if everyone can do a little it will add up to a lot. Some ways to keep our county clean throughout the summer: Cover your trash loads to the dump, Control the trash on construction sites, Don’t litter- find a trash receptacle to dispose of your litter.
