Sidney has 21 individuals heading to state track this Friday and Saturday. For the girls in the 3,200 meter run, Tess Ler placed 6th. In the 400 meter relay Sidney placed 4th, the team consisted of Hailey Steinbeisser, Breanna Frank, Tenna Cooley and Ciara Sinks. In the 1,600 meter relay Sidney placed 3rd, the team consisted of Lakayla Nentwig, Ciara Sinks, Myka Steinbeisser and Breanna Frank. In pole vault Harmony Hampton took 1st, Aubrey Kessel took 2nd and Myka Steinbeisser took 6th. In triple jump Hailey Steinbeisser took 6th. In discus Hailey Steinbeisser took 2nd. In javelin Hailey Steinbeisser took 1st and Jordan Baxter took 2nd.
For the boys in the 200 meter run Dawson McGlothlin placed 5th. In the 400 meter run Trace Jones placed 3rd. In the 3,200 meter run Christian Anglesey placed 6th. In the 110 meter hurdles Christian Anglesey placed 4th. In the 300 meter hurdles Tyler Quilling placed 2nd. In the 400 meter relay Sidney placed 3rd, the team consisted Dawson McGlothlin, Logan Thiel, Alec Lovegren, James Rohner. In the 1,600 meter relay Sidney placed 4th. The team consisted of Tyler Quilling, Tel Hermanson, Logan Thiel, Trace Jones. In high jump James Rohner placed 3rd. In pole vault Mason Thiel placed 3rd, Logan Thiel 2nd and Garrison Hughes 4th. In long jump Tyler Quilling placed 6th. In triple jump Tyler Quilling placed 1st. In shot put Hunter Severson placed 4th. In discus Hunter Severson placed 1st.
