Elks Head Shaving Raises $11,339 For Cancer Coalition And Ribbon Walk

On Saturday, April 25 the Sidney Elks Lodge raised $11,339.00 for the Cancer Coalition and Ribbon Walk, asking for donations in exchange for shaving the heads of some very good natured Elks members and additional volunteers. John Jensen, Quinn Jones, Tom Olson, Dick Lange, Dave Earwood, Chad Eide, Doris Olson, Luke Weiss, Lee Hurst, and Jason Lamb all volunteered at the event, going under the clippers for a good cause. This is the second year that the Elks had organized the event, raising about $4,000.00 in 2014. Kim Lange from Mark Anthony volunteered to color hair prior to the haircuts and tidy up the volunteers' hair afterwards.
