Stadium Sports owners Shawn and Lindsay Hansen are off to a great start with the opening of their sporting gifts store. The new business, located in the Yellowstone Marketplace at 102 N Central Ave, Sidney, MT, opened November 14, 2014, just in time for the holiday season.

"November and December gave us an amazing start," said Shawn Hansen. "We are seeing returning customers and have been received really well."

Stadium Sports supplies merchandise from professional and college teams and will soon be adding local high school teams. 47 Brand, Zephyr, Top of the World, and Majestic are just some of the brands that are kept on hand. An extensive inventory of hats, decals, cups, lanyards, clothing, and much more give customers a variety of products to choose from. The Hansens will be expanding their lines of hockey and basketball hats as well as Montana Bobcat and Grizzly inventory. Baseball jerseys are being added in early May also.

The Hansen's felt that Sidney was the best place to start their business and with the space being move-in ready, it took about a month to move in and display merchandise.

Shawn Hansen, who previously co-owned a store with his brother in Michigan, said of Sidney, "It is a nice mix of people: local, west-coast, and southern. It's unique; a very laid-back town."
