Lawrence VanDyke, who is running for Montana Supreme Court Judge, met with local residents at Reynolds Market Deli in Sidney on Thursday October 2 to answer questions and discuss issues. His visit to Sidney was part of his Hi-Line tour. As a fifth generation Montanan, VanDyke began working with the family construction business and initially graduated from MSU Bozeman with a degree in engineering.
Deciding to follow his passion, he got a scholarship to Harvard University and later graduated with honors. He then worked for Judge Janice Rogers-Brown who is a Washington DC Circuit Judge; after that VanDyke worked as a Constitutional and Appeals Attorney before accepting the position of Montana Solicitor General.
VanDyke is endorsed by the Montana Chamber of Commerce, the NRA and the Montana Shooting Sports Association. His personal party and position aside, he is diligent that if elected he will apply the law and not become an activist for his own personal beliefs.
VanDyke lives in Clancy Montana with his wife and children. For more information about the candidate please visit his website at vandykeforjustice.com.
