Jim Vitt has been appointed by the board of directors of Lower Yellowstone REC to fill the position left vacant in district 1 by the passing of long time board member Marvin Kilen. The position will be up for election at the annual meeting in June 2015. Vitt, who is married to Loretta, farms and ranches northwest of Sidney.
