Shakespeare at the Library

The library will be showing Shakespeare’s comedy “As You Like It” on Tuesday, July 1st, at 6:30pm. The film is free and open to all adults. The library will provide popcorn and water.

In “As You Like It,” a young woman named Rosalind is banished from court by her uncle, the Duke. She disguises herself as a man and flees into the forest of Arden. While on the run, she encounters a gentleman Orlando—a man she had fallen in love with when at court. Rosalind decides to use her disguise to learn more about Orlando, and how to win his heart. Directed by Kenneth Branagh, this version takes place in 19th Century Japan.

Other adult activities include Healthy Food Recipe swaps, which will take place throughout the month of July.

Please stop in or visit the library Facebook page for more information.
