Richland County Transportation Service (RCTS) began in 2006 providing rides to approximately 13,000 people and operating 8 hours a day, 5 days per week. Since then, the growth and demands of the county have increased substantially and RCTS is providing about 50,000 rides per year. In addition to its regular service, RCTS also provides a number of day trips during the summer months to places such as: Fort Peck Theatre and the Medora Musical and Pitchfork Fondue.
RCTS has given senior citizens the freedom of mobility and makes living independently more achievable. It aides working parents by offering transportation services for their school age children when their work schedules conflict with their child’s activities. In addition to this, RCTS offers a safe, comfortable ride and is more relaxing and usually more cost effective than driving. Each of their 8 operating vehicles is equipped to fit every type of standard mobility device.
