The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center, in cooperation with the Trenton Fire Department, will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 5, beginning at 1 p.m., weather permitting This special community event will offer children not only the chance to chase down those elusive Easter Eggs at the Confluence, but also allow them to enjoy the educational opportunities provided by the Confluence Center’s exhibits. The eggs will be hidden in three locations, with the children divided into three age groups.
The Trenton Fire Department has been hosting this event to local children for more than 15 years. This marks the fourth year the Confluence Center and Trenton Fire Department have joined forces to offer the children the best Easter Egg Hunt experience possible.
The event is free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, please call 701.572.9034 for an alternate date for the egg hunt. Participants are encouraged to come early and register for door prizes.
The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is located one-half mile east of Fort Buford, near Williston.
The Confluence Center is open year-round. Its winter hours are in effect, and are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. It is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission to the Center’s exhibits is $2.50 per adult, $1.25 per child, ages 6-15, and children 5 and under are admitted free.
