The Montana Department of Transportation would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal installation of highway rail-grade crossing signals, flashing lights and gates on Holly Street in Sidney, MT, Richland County.
The work will be accomplished in conjunction with BNSF Railway. MDT is providing funding for installation and BNSF Railway will perform the physical installation. The purpose of the project is to improve safety at the crossing.
The work is tentatively scheduled for construction in fall of 2014.
