Sidney Middle School Students of the Month

Sidney Middle School's October Student of the Month is Sean Montgomery, son of Bob and Tina Montgomery.

Sean meets the criteria for Student of the Month in every way possible. No matter what the weather is like outside, Sean brings a bit of sunshine to the halls of Sidney middle school with his infectious smile, optimism and willingness to help others. Sean sets his goals high and makes every effort to achieve them with hard work, a positive and "can do" attitude. His assignments are always in on time, he is respectful, kind and the first to lend a helping hand. He would never deliberately hurt anyone's feelings. He is a great example to others. He's always smiling. Recognition of this award is well deserved and Sidney middle school is lucky to have you.

Zach Sommerfeld, the son of Janet Christoffersen and Larry Sommerfeld,  is a Freshman this year, and was interested in being a student aide in the library.  I was pleased to discover that Zach is a self-starter as well as a quick study, and basically never needs to be told what to do next after completing his initial assignment for the period.  He's prompt, courteous, and definitely has the skill set for customer service, all of which are important in just about any occupation you can think of.  Zach's work ethic and attitude are both part and parcel of his nomination for SHS Student of the Month.
