Sidney Eagles Speech and Drama team traveled to Hardin this weekend. Coaches Gail Staffanson and Christy Pierce could not be more proud of their team!
The speech team: Christian Anglesey competed in HOI and placed 1st, Laura Elmore competed in SOI and placed 6th, Kasey Gorder competed in Impromptu placing 5th and in Expos placing 2nd, Zach Sommerfield & Micheal Stevens competed in Impromptu, Danny Johnson competed in Extemp placing 3rd, Morgan Barnett competed in Expos placing 6th.
The Drama team placed 2nd in Class A sweeps finishing behind last year's state champion Belgrade.
KaitlynTibbits placed 4th in Humorous Solo, Lexie Brunsvold & Tess Ler placed 5th in Humorous Duo, Tessa Hill and Emily Schaffplaced 8th in Humorous Duo, John Elmore placed 3rd in Serious Solo, Rachel Ledgerwood placed 5th in Serious Solo, Sarah Turek & Camden Berka placed 3rd in Classical Duo and Ariana Gaskin and Mark LaPan placed 4th in Classical Duo. The team is heading to Billings next weekend to compete against Billings Central.
