Junior Catholic Daughters

Newly installed officers  of the Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Mother Cabrini #1766  gather after Mass Nov. 11th at St. Matthew's parish  chapel.  Left to right are:  Janet Martineau, Regent Court Mother Cabrini #1766; Taylor Thiessen, JCDA President;Secretary, Brianna Reid; Reporter, Tessa Hill; 2nd Vice President, Madison Thiessen; Fr. Jim O'Neil, presider;  1st Vice President, Abby Brodhead; State 1st Vice Regent, Kelly Ihde; and in front new member Ayva Moreno.  After the Mass the girls were honored with a cake reception and then they prepared packages of clothing and toys to ship to those in need.

The Junior Catholic Daughters Ct. Mother Cabrini #1766 sing for the Veteran's Day Brunch at St. Matthew's in Sidney.  The Knights of Columbus served lunch to parishioners after Mass Nov. 10th.  Veterans were recognized and received   a Blessing song from the congregation.
