The Montana Chamber is coming to a city near you!!
We invite all businesses to attend for a short one-hour program, networking, refreshments, and door prizes!
Health care costs continue to be the “major pocket book concern” of Montana voters, according to the annual Power-Base (P-Base) survey. Affordable Care Act (ACA), marketplace, navigators and exchanges have now become part of everyday conversations. The ACA has led to business changes as well, including for the Montana Chamber Choices program. We will be endorsing health coverage by Associated Employers beginning January 1, 2014.
While health care is on everybody’s mind, it is just one factor in the business world. This and other issues will be addressed by Montana Chamber of Commerce staff when they close the office for a few days for the semi-annual Montana Business Agenda Tour. Tour stops have been scheduled November 25-27 in almost thirty cities across the Treasure State. President/CEO Webb Brown invites all members and business owners to attend. “Gauging local perspectives assists us in setting priorities and we have learned that the best way to do that is not through phone calls or tracking the news, but to travel the state and hear directly from those invested in the business climate of Montana,” Brown said.
This tour is also an opportunity for Chamber staff to provide updates and information on the many successful programs we offer, the benefits of membership, healthcare concerns, and legislative issues.
