On Halloween I will be going door to door and asking community members to donate canned goods for my food drive, and I invite the community to join me! This is a great way to make Halloween family-friendly and service oriented. I will be in the St. Matthews parking lot from 9pm to approximately 10:30pm. Children and families that participate can have their photo taken with me at the time they drop off their canned goods. Every can counts!
The next day, Friday, November 1, I will head to the food bank to donate all of the canned goods. It will tentatively be around 4pm, subject to change. But I also encourage others to join me at the Richland County Food Bank so they see first-hand where their time and efforts go and who they serve!
