On July 16, 2013, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Eastern Agricultural Research Station meeting room there will be an informational meeting. Sidney Job Service has scheduled Jenny Betz, Department of Labor and Industry Program Manager for Foreign Labor and Migrant Seasonal Farm Worker Programs to present along with representatives from Rural Employment Opportunities. Topics to be discussed will include preparing for the federal audit, changes to the programs, what your responsibilities are and what employee rights are as well. Additionally she will present new material on the Migrant and Seasonal Farm Worker Program and how this may be an option for you. This is a totally new perspective than what has been seen in the past.
