The next step in the downtown planning process for Williston is underway. RDG Planning & Design firm and the City of Williston Planning and Zoning department will be hosting a public design workshop to give the community an opportunity to share ideas with the planning and design teams to help create an even better downtown for Williston.
The workshop will be held at 18 2nd Street E (formerly Russon’s Deli) in downtown Williston on the following dates and times: Tuesday, July 16 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The community is invited to stop by briefly and share ideas or stay for the entire workshop. A presentation and discussion of the work done during the workshops will take place on Thursday, July 18 at 6:00 p.m.
At the workshops, designers from the firm will take ideas gathered from previous public meetings as well as comments from the Plan Downtown Williston website and outline possible concepts for redevelopment and redesign, drawing a vision for downtown with input from workshop attendees.
