Railroad Crossing Signal Installation 3 Miles North of Sidney – Richland Co.

The Montana Department of Transportation would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposed installation of highway-railgrade crossing signals, flashing lights and gates on County Road 128 three miles north of Sidney, MT, Richland County.

The work will be accomplished in conjunction with BNSF Railway. MDT is providing funding for installation and BNSF Railway will perform the physical installation.

The purpose of the project is to improve safety at the crossing. The work is tentatively scheduled for construction in spring of 2014.
