Annual MonDak Ag Showcase to be Held July 10-12

The MonDak Ag Showcase is an annual public event showcasing and promoting the Mon-Dak region as an ideal place for new agricultural businesses and development. The event also promotes the irrigation development and potential in the region, as well as the crop diversity taking place on dryland conditions.

The event is hosted to promote the region as a viable ag producing region on various crops and livestock and to showcase the current and potential ag processing located in the region.

Some of the region’s agriculture successes are the development of a Malt Barley storage and handling facility, seed potato production and pulse plants.

All community members, local farmers and ag processors are encouraged to attend. There will be experts in multiple areas available to answer your questions and you'll have the unique opportunity to view the growing and processing of crops in the region.

Refreshments will be served and an afternoon workshop and an evening banquet with a keynote speaker will be held.

The MonDak Ag Showcase Social & Dinner will take place at The Airport International Inn in Williston on July 10 starting at 5 p.m. The Williston Research Extension Center Dryland Tour will take place 4-1/2 miles west of Williston on Hwy 2 and will begin at 8:30 a.m. on July 11. The afternoon session will follow the barbeque chicken luncheon at the WREC Ernie French Center starting at 1:15 p.m. The Nesson Vally Irrigation Tour will be located 23 miles east of Williston on Hwy 1804 and will begin at 8:30 a.m. on July 12.
