Rev. Jim O’Neil, Rev. Troy Simonsen, and Rev. Edward Shinnick who presided when Troy received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation and First Communion as a child at St. Matthews.
On June 7th Troy Simonsen was ordained to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ by Most Rev. David D. Kagan Apostolic Administrator, Diocese of Fargo, Bishop of Bismarck at the Cathedral of St. Mary, Fargo N.D.
On Father’s Day he returned to his home parish St. Matthew’s in Sidney where he celebrated Mass. Afterwards a reception was hosted for Rev. Troy Simonsen by Catholic Daughters Court Mother Cabrini #1766.
