The Top Corporate Team this year was Sidney Health Center.
The 1st Place Family Team for the 2013 March for Babies event was Andrew’s Angels 10, of Sidney.
The 2nd Place Family Team was Team M&M- Mighty Miracles, out of Culbertson.
The 1st Place Youth Team was the Sidney Key Club, (L to R) Emily Schaff, Abby Brodhead, and Jesse Staffanson.
In celebration of the 75th anniversary, children walkers and March of Dimes community director, Maria Mares, sing a special Happy Birthday song to start off the March for Babies event.
The Montana March of Dimes ambassador family this year is Lee and Kelly Alvstad, of Sidney. They led the walk with their friend, Brody Keysor.
In honor of the 75th Anniversary for March of Dimes, IGA donated this wonderful cake to the event.
By the day of the walk, the event had raised $13,151.25, by the end of the fundraising campaign it is projected that the event will bring in approx. $24,000.00!
It was estimated that there were about 75 walkers, including children.

Thank you to everyone that attended, fundraised and for all the hard work that made this event possible. Teams can continue to fundraise up until Oct. 7th to reach walker incentive goals and to be eligible for top team in the state awards. In the late Fall (date is still undetermined) the March of Dimes hosts a Celebrating Success Dinner where the top teams, individuals and volunteers are honored.
