City and County officials met to discuss the upcoming Enhancement Project scheduled for the block around the Courthouse. With plans to cut into the county property, parking around the courthouse will be safer and easier. The project is also being called the “beautification project”, as there is discussion of using sloped curbs, new street lights, hand-laid concrete pavers, along with many trees, shrubs and flowers. With the goal of having it all accomplished this upcoming fall, plans are being finalized.
