NDSU's Rural Leadership Program Looking for Participants for Sixth Class

The North Dakota State University’s Extension Service is looking for participants for it’s sixth class of the Rural Leadership program. The program is an 18 month leadership development program to help improve organizations, businesses, communities, and farm and ranch operations.

The program consists of in-state seminars, trips to Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, and an international study tour. Many things are covered during the 18 month program, which will begin in November. Topics will vary from agriculture, leadership, and economic development to international agricultural and community issues.

The tuition for the program is $3,750, which covers meals, hotels, and most of the travel expenses. The deadline to apply for the class is May 31, 2013. Applicants must have been a state resident for at least a year and be able to attend all of the seminars.
